An umbrella that charges your phone and enhances signals apart from blocking the sun and rain!

Vodaphone has invented the new Booster Brolly that blocks the sun and rain and also allows you to charge your  phone and enhance the signals.
This umbrella has a solar panel sewed into its top that entraps the sunlight and produces electric current that is stored in the hidden battery present in its handle. This energy can then be used to power the LED light attached with the umbrella or to charge a mobile device with the help of a usb charger.
It uses a low power signal repeater and a high gain antenna to enhance the signal effect by creating a high density signal cloud over the user's head.
Thus Booster Brolly performs additional functions besides blocking the sun and rain. It is a perfect partner for you, during your long trips and expeditions!

Sensastep helps you walking easily!

Today, even in this world of medical improvement  and innovation, there are people with sensory and motor disabilities that can not walk naturally. Such people  find a lot difficulty in walking as they have to watch their footsteps while they walk.
The newly developed sensastep watches your footsteps as you walk, thus helping you to walk  easily and naturally.
Sensastep consists of an insole foam pad and an ankle strap  with a signal transmitter. There is a receiver that receives signals and is hung with the ear of the user. The insole pad senses as the foot  touches the ground and generates signal that are transmitted though the ankle transmitter to the ear receiver.  The ear receiver produces vibrations that stimulate the cochlear nerve. Thus the brains knows which part of the foot touches the ground. This all helps the user to sense his or her footsteps and helps walking smoothly and quite naturally.

Wireless charging through laptop!

Intel has conceived a new idea of wireless charging of cell phone with the help of a laptop. This idea has  been demonstrated on an Acer laptop. Now, there is no  need of carrying charging cable or mats with you! The prototype ultrabook sets the phone on charging when the phone is placed near it.
There is a pair of transmitter, one in the laptop and the other in the phone.  The charging takes place through electromagnetic induction. The laptop's transmitter produces a varying magnetic field that induces a current in the transmitter of the phone. This charges the phone.
Charging starts as soon as the phone is placed near the laptop with an audio "ping" and a desktop notification of charging.

Touch Screen Buttons; an amazing technology!

The microfluid technology, from Tactus Technology has enabled the developers to develop touch screen buttons that appear or recede on demand.
This is the world's first tactile system that enables the plain touch screen to develop dynamic, physical buttons that appear on triggering the touch screen.

The buttons appear as per the app and enables the users to work more efficiently. The layer of the touch screen deforms to create specific stacks of variable thickness that act as buttons. Thus, the buttons on your device can now appear or disappear on your demand!

A bandage that promotes healing!

The researchers have developed a new silicon based bandage that not only protects the wounds but also lets them to heal quickly by favoring quick and efficient migration of the cells to the damage site.
The bandage is grooved and has the ability to speed up healing. The grooves act as pathways for the fibroblasts to reach the site of injury. Fibroblasts are the repair cells that are required for the healing process. In a natural process, these cells migrate themselves to the site of injury and initiate the healing process, but the shape of wound greatly affects their migration. Sometimes the shape of the wound discourages migration and the cells may accumulate to form scarring. This bandage has special grooves that act as a pathway for these fibroblasts and enable them to reach the site, quickly. Thus it promotes healing and reduces the healing time.

Self-Guiding Bullet

A team at Sandia National Laboratories, led by Larry Shipers, has designed a new kind of 50-caliber bullet that is dart like in shape. It is a non-spinning, computer aided bullet that has an ability to increase the accuracy by as much as 90%.
The bullet has an optical sensor at its tip and four tiny motorized fins that are able to change the angle. As a shooter determines the target by a laser dot, the optical sensor locks it down. The bullet also has an eight bit processor operated by a battery. This processor uses a control logarithm to steer the bullet to adjust its path. The processor works by 30 times a second to increase the accuracy.
A standard firearm with a smooth-bore barrel can eliminate the spinning and produce the required result by shooting this bullet. it can increase the accuracy, save money and reduce collateral damage.

Geode Digital Wallet

The Geode digital wallet is a specific digital wallet, designed as an I-Phone case, that stores all of the user's Credit, Debit and loyalty cards. This has been hailed as the first secure digital wallet throughout the world.
A card reader is provided with Geode Digital wallet, with which the user can add his or her credit or debit card, into the system which can then be used by supplanting them with the Geocard, which can function as any kind of card with just a touch of an app.
Identity cards can be added to the system by photographing them with the camera which are then used through the e-ink screen on the back of the device.
This device has a bio-metric fingerprint technology that keeps the user's data secure.  It recognizes the user's fingerprints and allows access only by the swipe of fingerprints already entered into the system. The device also contains self-destructing system that can be used in case the device is stolen or lost.
